Feeding Guidelines

Recommended Feeding Guidelines

To every meal (meal = up to 2.5 cups of food) add 1/2 to 1 teaspoon (about 1.4 to 2.8 grams) to moistened pet food that is at room temperature.  Mix well, to allow the enzymes to blend with the food.  After mixing, leave at room temperature for at least 15 minutes before feeding.

For meal sizes of one-cup or less, you can start with 1/4 teaspoon.

Stay at a given dose for at least 4 days (with every meal) and then examine the stools. If required, increase the dose by only a 1/4 teaspoon increment and wait another 4 days to check the stools again. Repeat this process until stools become firm.

Always provide plenty of fresh water for drinking.

Do not feed dry enzyme powder to your dog.

Powder must be thoroughly mixed with moistened pet food before feeding.

Enzymes do not need to fully dissolve after mixing with pet food.

Never use hot water in the preparation of enzymes.

Do not microwave pet food that has been prepared with enzymes.

Enzyme jars should not be stored in the refrigerator or freezer.

As with any supplement, it should only be given to your dog on the recommendation by and under the supervision of a veterinary professional.
