Amphitrite (Amp)
"Just over 5 years ago, I brought my Amp to the vet for not eating and consistent vomiting. The first visit, they put her on some fancy (expensive) bland food and told me to go home. I brought her back not two weeks later because I still couldn't get her to eat and they said some scary words- "she looks yellow. You need the ER now." So we rushed over to the ER for me to wait in the parking lot with her (it was 2020!) for over eight hours before being seen. The emergency vets needed to keep her overnight, but by morning they still had no idea what was wrong with my girl. Finally, three vets and more than a month into weekly emergency visits, somebody saw something funny in her blood work and was able to give her a diagnosis. "Funny", the vet had told me. "I've never seen this in a cat before". Just standard for my unconventional cat to get an unconventional disease I suppose. Finally she was able to start eating again. At its worse, this digestive issue had taken my chunky 18 pound cat to a mere 7.9 pounds in about four weeks- terrifying to see as a pet owner. Unfortunelty, as I'm sure this team and the people who love Pan-Tenex know, the enzymes for EPI are incredibly, suffocatingly expensive. When I first started buying them, it was about 65$ for 8oz. That quickly rose to 80$, and then 120$ within the span of about a year. By the 120$ mark, I knew there was no way I was going to be able to keep up and needed an alternative. I tried exploring lots of options but I was scared of making my Amp sick again. Finally, I found Pan-Tenex. I asked my vet what she thought and I got no answers back other than to "try it and see" and since then Pan-Tenex has been a miracle. Not only do I not need my vet to order it, but the prices have been reasonable, the shipping incredibly quick, the Customer service and mini sales incredibly helpful, and most of all- they work. There is no other greater support and thanks I can give to Pan-Tenex for helping me to save my Amp's life. Without these, she would die of not getting any nutrition out of her food and in pain. I can always tell when she needs a bigger dose or for me to wait longer for them to adhere to the food because she will throw up after- so clearly and thankfully they work! All my love to the team who supports these- you're keeping my Amp happy and healthy. Thank you!"
